British Museum

Do you think sand burial or coffin burial was the most effective? Why?

Why did the Ancient Egyptians preserve bodies by mummification? How do you know?

What was your favourite part of our trip to the British Museum?

I think the sand burial was the most effective because we could still see the Ancient Egyptian person’s skin and a bit of it’s hair.

The Ancient Egyptians preserved bodies in mummification because they believed people would have a life after they died called the ‘afterlife’. I know this because I read it in a book.

My favorite part of our trip was when we saw the rosetta stone because I saw the different types of Egyptian writing that they used to use.
