My favourite line is when it says :
“Crouched in his kennel, like a log, with paws of silver sleeps the dog,”
because it has an ‘ed ing ly’ opener and also it has a simile that is, “like a log.”
My favourite part of the poem is, “silver slowly, silently, now the moon walks the night in her silver shoon.,”
My other favourite part of the poem is,” crouched in his kennel, like a dog with paws and a silver sleeps the dog from their shadowy cote the white feathers peep.”
My favourite line is when it says:
“Silver slowly, silently, now the moon walk the night in her silver shoon,” because the moon doesn’t walk and the author has made it sound like a person.

Hello miss Griswood,
your class poem is great I love the alliteration at the beginning
Silver slowly , silently .
I really like the metaphor as well, “now the moon Walks the night in her silver shoon;”
I really get an image in my head when I read this sentence,” A harvest mouse goes scampering by,
With silver claws and a silver eye;And moveless fish in the water gleam,By silver reeds in a silver stream.”
Hello Miss Griswood,
Your class poem is amazing. Especially the line that says ” Now the moon walks the night in her silver shoon,”. I like it because it has a metaphor in it and the metaphor is that the moon walks but the moon does not walk.
And alliteration I really liked was “silver slowly , silently” because it describes the moon very clearly the poem is just beautiful . You should really read our class poem it is called “Moonlit Apples”. It is really easy to learn hope you like it.

I really like this poem because it has a lot of fascinating sentences. My favourite sentence is, “Silver Slowly, Silently, Now The Moon Walks The Night In Her Silver Shoon.” This is because I can picture it in my head.
I found the words awesome because instead of using shoe you used shoon which is good. My favourite line is, “silver, slowly, silently, now the moon walks the night in her silver shoon,” because it because it describes the moon as a person.
I LOVED THE PART WHEN IT SAID MOVLES FISH IN WATER GLEAM BECAUSE IT GIVES ME AN IMAGE OF FISH NOT ABLE TO SWIM.IT ALSO MAKES ME FEEL LONLEY . I DISLIKE WHEN IT SAID SLOWLY, SIENTLY NOW THE MOON BECAUSE IT DOES NOT MAKE ME THINK OF NOTHING. FROM ANEISHA.
